Computer Information Technology students are prepared in technology, while receiving a balanced curriculum, which will allow them to develop skills well beyond technology.
The core curriculum is designed to develop the ability to solve a variety of problems through efficient utilization of modern computer concepts and technologies. The Computer Information Technology major covers these seven focus areas: programming, operating systems, database management, systems analysis and design, networking technologies, Internet and intranet technologies, and general education.
